What is Shanky’s Whip Irish Whiskey
Shanky’s Whip Irish Whiskey is the fantastic blend of Irish Whiskey and spirits distilled from whey, infused with natural vanilla and caramel. The story goes that an Irish jockey named Shanky was thrown from his horse mid-race. Not one to admit defeat, he returned to the race track with an ostrich, a cart, and a whip to finish the race.
He has a passion for Irish whisky, but didn’t love the burn on the back of his throat, so he mixed some cream in and a bit of stout and the rest is history. It’s up to you whether you believe this or not!
Although you can buy in in 70cl, I love the 3 x 5cl retro packaging designed with vintage Irish matchbox artwork.
How does Shanky’s Whip taste
