What is Tanqueray Gin
A favorite gin all over the world, Tanqueray Gin consistently tops lists and wins awards. Created by Charles Tanqueray in 1830, Tanqueray was one of the first London Dry Gins on the market.
Charles’s goal was to create create the world’s best gin. Supposedly he tried over 300 recipes before settling on the one that made him famous.
Since then, Tanqueray has continued to be driven by Charles’ spirit of exploration and innovation and the Blackcurrant Royale is an example of this!
What is Tanqueray Blackcurrant Royale
Charles was a visitor of Chamonix in his day and Blackcurrant Royale is inspired by his trips to that outdoorsy village. The choice of starting with juicy blackcurrants from France is inspired by those sojourns to Chamonix!
Add a touch of warm vanilla and exotic floral notes of black orchid with Tanqueray London Dry Gin and you have Tanqueray Blackcurrant Royale.
How does Tanqueray Blackcurrant Royale taste
Aesthetically, it’s one of the most beautiful liquids on the market.
- Color: I can’t say it enough – a gorgeous, rich hue of purple
- Nose: Just opening the bottle you are seduced by a blackcurrants, as well as a slight vanilla aroma sneaking up from behind
- Palate: Although you might not detect juniper in the aroma, it’s definitely there under the blackcurrant heavy flavor – remember it’s a gin after all!
- Finish: Delicate finish with soft fruit and vanilla hints
- Alcohol: 41.3% ABV – 700ml
