Marc Jean got down to making me some of his favorite Bénédictine cocktails, including the Monk’s Sour which is our cocktail of the week:
Monk's Sour

Ingredients
- 50 ml Bénédictine
- 25 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 bar spoons of organic honey syrup
- 1 dash of orange bitters
- Grated nutmeg
- 15 ml of egg white
Directions
- Step 1 Add all ingredients to a shaker
- Step 2 Make sure you add the egg white last
- Step 3 Add ice
- Step 4 Shake hard
- Step 5 Strain into a cup
- Step 6 Garnish with nutmeg
- Step 7 Serve in a wooden cup if you can
