Thought of Tequila as only a drink had in shots? Well, you’ve done that wrong. Although the Margarita is the most popular tequila cocktail, it never seems to get the respect it deserves. I am a huge fan of tequila and I am so happy it is one of the spirits of the moment.
Easy Tequila Cocktails
This easy classic cocktail recipe screams summer! With a side of chips and salsa, the classic Margarita is really the perfect cocktail.
With or without the salt rim, the combination of tequila with fresh lime juice and orange liqueur (Triple Sec or Cointreau) is Mexico in a cocktails. The traditional recipe is with blanco tequila, but use whatever you wish.
You'll need a cocktail shaker for this one and a Margarita or coupe glass. Garnish with a lime wedge or a lime wheel!
Who is Tommy and why does he have his own margarita? Simply put, Tommy’s Margarita is the same as the original recipe, except using agave syrup instead of the orange liqueur. It was invented in San Francisco, but has conquered the world!
