How to Make the Tongue in Peat Bloody Mary

Rim Glass with Black Pepper 50ml Holy Grass Vodka 20ml Lime Juice 6 drops of Tabasco (add to taste) 8 drops Worcestershire Sauce 125ml Tongue in Peat Stir & Garnish with a Lemon Wedge

“It all started here. The original hangover hero, The Bloody Mary. The story behind the drink is unclear. It is believed by most thatthe drink was created by Fernand Petiot of The New York Bar, Paris in 1921. However, as with most famous cocktail backstory’s many have disputed this withtheir own claims. Even in fact who Mary was and why she was so Bloody is atopic of huge debate.

Ingredients

  • 50ml Vodka
  • 20ml Lime Juice
  • 6 drops of Tabasco (add to taste)
  • 8 drops Worcestershire Sauce
  • 125ml Tongue in Peat
  • Garnish: Lemon Wedge
  • Black Pepper to rim glass

Instructions

  1. Rim a highball glass with Black Pepper
  2. Add ice
  3. Build with Vodka
  4. Add Lime Juice
  5. Add Tabasco (add to taste)
  6. Add Worcestershire Sauce
  7. Add Tongue in Peat
  8. Stir
  9. Garnish with a Lemon Wedge
