The Tuxedo cocktail is a refined Martini variation with gin, dry vermouth, maraschino liqueur, and absinthe. Originating from the Tuxedo Club, it’s elegant, balanced, and great twist on the Martini!
Equipment
Ingredients
- 1 oz Old Tom Gin (or any gin if you don't have Old Tom)
- 1 ounce dry vermouth
- ½ barspoon Maraschino Luxardo
- ½ barspoon Absinthe
- 3 dashes orange bitters
- Garnish: cherry and lemon zest.
Instructions
- Add everything to a mixing glass
- Fill with ice and stir until chilled
- Double strain into a martini glass
- Garnish with cherry and lemon zest.
