Old Fashioned, The Pendennis Club, Louisville, Kentucky

Pendennis Old Fashioned

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2.5 ozs Bourbon (Old Forester 86 proof);Quarter size pour of Simple Syrup
  • 2 Dashes of Angostura Bitters
  • Cherries
  • Slice of Orange

Instructions

  1. Put in a quarter size pour of simple syrup in the bottom of an Old-Fashioned glass
  2. Add two dashes Angostura bitters, orange wedge, maraschino cherry
  3. Muddle gently without smashing everything together
  4. Pour 2.5 ozs bourbon (house is Old Forester 86 proof) on to the ingredients and add ice
  5. Stir and sip
