How to Make the Sugar Plum Old Fashioned

The Sugar Plum Old Fashioned is a festive variation that builds on the classic structure while introducing seasonal fruit and spice. It reflects the tendency to adapt well known cocktails for specific times of year. The base format remains intact.

Plum and spice add depth and a touch of sweetness to the whiskey. Bitters keep the drink grounded. The result is richer but still controlled.

Why Lush Life Loves It

I am always a bit wary of festive twists, but this one holds together. It still feels like an Old Fashioned first, which matters. The seasonal element just sits quietly in the background.
