The Gin Fizz dates back to the late nineteenth century and was part of a whole family of “fizz” drinks that became hugely popular in American bars. It was even famous enough to inspire dedicated bartenders just to keep up with demand.

Made with gin, lemon, sugar, and soda, it is light, bright, and refreshing, often finished with egg white for a softer texture. The balance is clean but the texture is what sets it apart. It is a drink that feels both classic and slightly indulgent.
Why Lush Life Loves It
I love how this one feels almost weightless when it is done properly. It is the kind of drink that disappears before you realise it.
