Inspired by the classic steakhouses of New York and Chicago, the restaurant invites guests to gather over signature comfort dishes and elevated American hospitality. This season’s offering captures the warmth and nostalgia of autumn, pairing rich bourbons and harvest-inspired flavours with the joy of coming together around the table.

This season begins at the Bourbon Bar, where five seasonal Old Fashioneds have been crafted to capture the flavours of autumn. Highlights include the Pecan Harvest,  a decadent blend of beef tallow-washed Eagle Rare Bourbon, toasted pecan, maple and cacao bitters, delivering a rich, nutty, and subtly savoury finish. Other standout serves include the Maple & Cask, which combines bourbon, orange, cinnamon and maple for a bright yet warming cocktail, and the Orchard Spice, featuring baked apple, Demerara sugar and allspice, reminiscent of classic autumn puddings. For those seeking something richer, the Brown Butter Oak blends brown butter-washed bourbon, rye, blackstrap molasses, ginger, and nutmeg, resulting in a deeply warming cocktail layered with notes of dark caramel and spice.

Complementing the cocktail offering is JW Steakhouse’s annual Thanksgiving Feast, a three-course menu designed to celebrate one of America’s most beloved dining traditions. The meal begins with a selection of seasonal starters, from a silky Butternut Squash & Sage Velouté, finished with toasted pumpkin seeds, brown butter crumble and chive butter, to a Creamy Burrata with Cranberry & Orange, served alongside endive, toasted hazelnuts, candied walnuts, chicory leaves and rosemary focaccia. Seafood lovers can opt for Seared Scallops, paired with smoked bacon jam and caramelised apple, while those looking to truly indulge can start with the Native Lobster Cocktail, featuring chilled native lobster tail, crisp gem lettuce, avocado, traditional Marie Rose sauce and a squeeze of lemon for a luxurious start to the celebration.

The centrepiece of the feast is a traditional Bronze Norfolk Turkey, served with spiced brioche and apricot stuffing, roasted chestnuts, cranberry and orange relish, and rich turkey gravy. Guests can also opt for JW Steakhouse favourites including a Dry-Aged Sirloin Steak (10z) with black garlic butter and thyme jus, on the lighter side a Wild Halibut with charred leeks and caper beurre blanc, or a wholesome Autumn Truffle and Mushroom Risotto.

As with any true Thanksgiving celebration, the sides take centre stage, crispy duck-fat potatoes, maple-glazed heritage carrots’, cauliflower gratin, creamed spinach and charred brussels sprouts with smoked pancetta are all designed for sharing and enjoy the occasion together.

Desserts offer a final taste of autumn indulgence, from Spiced Pumpkin Meringue Tarttopped with roasted pecans and cinnamon mascarpone to apple and pear toffee crumble served with Calvados anglaise and vanilla ice cream. For chocolate lovers, a Dark chocolate and hazelnut bar with Frangelico ganache and salted caramel ice cream provides a rich and decadent finale.

Set within interiors that blend the timeless charm of classic American steakhouses with contemporary design, JW Steakhouse offers the perfect backdrop for the season. Whether sipping a Pecan Harvest at the bar, sharing a Thanksgiving feast with family and friends, or simply seeking a taste of American comfort as the nights draw in, guests are invited to settle in, slow down and celebrate autumn.
