Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz Clarke’s Court Special Dark Rum
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce orange curacao
  • 1/2 oz orgeat syrup
  • 3/4 ounce spiced sugar syrup*
  • garnish lime twist

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients except the lime twist into a shaker with ice. 
  • Shake 
  • Pour into a coupe or martini glass and add lime twist.

Notes

*You will need to prepare a spice infused sugar syrup using star anise, cinnamon, cloves, all spice, fennel and nutmeg – all grow in abundance in Grenada! Add equal parts water and sugar, with all the spice in a pot and heat until the sugar is dissolved. Let set a few hours and then taste. If you like it, then sieve and place in a glass jar. This can be kept in the fridge.
