Ingredients
  

  • oz Irish whiskey
  • 4 oz hot freshly brewed coffee
  • ½ oz demerara sugar (or 1–2 tsp brown sugar)
  • Lightly whipped cream
  • Freshly Grated Nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • Preheat a heatproof glass with hot water, then discard the water.
  • Add the sugar and hot coffee, stirring until dissolved.
  • Pour in the Irish whiskey and stir gently.
  • Float the lightly whipped cream on top by pouring it over the back of a spoon. Do not stir before serving.
  • Garnish with a light dusting of grated nutmeg and enjoy with friends
