How to Make the Watermelon Margarita

The Watermelon Margarita is a seasonal variation that builds on the classic tequila and lime structure. It reflects a broader trend of incorporating fresh fruit into established cocktails without losing their balance. The aim is to enhance rather than replace the original.

Watermelon Margarita

Watermelon adds sweetness and a high water content, which softens the acidity of the lime. The key is controlling dilution so the drink does not lose its shape. When done well, it stays bright and refreshing.

Why Lush Life Loves It

This only works when the watermelon is actually worth it. When it is, the whole drink feels effortless and fresh. When it is not, I would rather just have a proper Margarita.
