To mark National Margarita Day (22nd February), East London cocktail bar Discount Suit Company will be spotlighting a special guest cocktail throughout February: a Mezcal Margarita made with Quiquiriqui Mezcal, available for only £10.
Known for its low-lit speakeasy setting and tequila-leaning cocktail list, Discount Suit Company’s take on the Margarita pairs smoky Quiquiriqui Mezcal with fresh citrus and balanced sweetness. A modern classic served in true DSC style, the cocktail will be available all month, with Margarita Day on Saturday 22nd February offering the perfect excuse to raise a glass.
Alongside this, sister bar Parasol will also be marking Margarita Day with a bold twist on the Spicy Marg with the Korean Jesus. Confident and unexpected, the cocktail combines smoke, spice and sweetness, combining Ocho Blanco Tequila and Quiquiriqui Mezcal with plum soju and honey. Gochujang brings a low, steady heat, sharpened with fresh ginger and coriander, and finished with a toasted sesame edge, complex, unapologetic and priced at £10.
