What does it take to reach the job of your dreams? A whole lot of plate polishing, in the case of our guest today, Giorgio Bargiani, Head of Mixology at the one and only Connaught Bar in London. I met him more than three years ago, just as Lush Life launched, and I’ve wanted him on the program ever since. Finally, our stars aligned and we found a moment to sit down together.

From Pisa to Portofino to Oxfordshire and back, Giorgio has traveled miles to find himself where he always dreamed he would be…at Carlos Place and The Connaught Hotel.

This week, Giorgio reveals:

  • Why he was polishing plates
  • How he found his first job in a hotel
  • What it’s like working at one of the best bars in the world
  • Where he likes to drink when he’s not at the Connaught

Giorgio is helping us get through this time by sharing his recipe for four different types of Negronis – click here for his Flight of Negronis!
