How to make a great rum cocktail

How to make a great rum cocktail

I love a Cuba Libre (rum & coke & lime!), but not if that is the only thing I had to drink for the rest of my life. Alex Jolliver and Tom Wiggett were so frustrated by the lack of mixers out there for drinkers of brown spirits, that they decided the time was right to create their own.

Knowing that every rum in the market has its own individual flavor, Alex and Tom’s goal, for their range of mixers, was to enhance those flavors, not hide them. Long Tail Mixers does just that – mixes with the original spirit to bring out its best.  Now there are options for your rum and whiskey, besides coke!

Try all three of their recommended cocktails: The Sundown Spice, The Golden Pistol and the Long Tailed Monkey!

Who’s on tap next:

Oh, to be in Italy…more specifically Trentino, that northern region, home to canederli and the Council of Trent. But more importantly, let’s talk what they’re drinking – it’s not only Trentodoc. Next time, we’ll meet the producers of some of the best sips in Trentino. If you can’t wait, check out my Lush Guide to Trentino at alushlifemanual.com for a little taster of what’s to come.
