A gin and tonic with a splash of British bramble in it. The Beefeater Blackberry Gin & Tonic takes a classic and gives it a fruity, violet-hued twist that’s every bit as easy to make as the original.

What Makes Beefeater Blackberry Different
Beefeater Blackberry starts life as the brand’s award-winning London Dry Gin, built on the same nine botanicals (juniper, lemon peel, orange peel, almond, angelica root, angelica seed, coriander seed, orris root, and liquorice root) that have defined Beefeater since James Burrough first distilled it. From there, it’s layered with exclusively natural bittersweet blackberry, plus a touch of natural geranium, and finished in the brand’s signature London copper stills.
The result is a soft violet colored gin that leans into what Beefeater calls the quintessential British bramble fruit, and it’s a lovely nod to the flavors James Burrough was experimenting with back in the 1800s.
What It Tastes Like
Tonic brings out the fruit here rather than burying it. Expect juniper and citrus still doing their job underneath, with the blackberry adding a gentle sweetness and that gorgeous color running right through the glass. It’s a softer, rounder G&T than the classic, closer in spirit to our Beefeater Peach & Raspberry Gin and Tonic than to a bone-dry London Dry pour.
How to Serve It
Fresh blackberries in the glass are non-negotiable here, they carry the color and the aroma the whole drink is built around. A lemon twist keeps things bright rather than letting the fruit tip into overly sweet. Why Lush Life Loves It
We love how playful this one is. It takes everything comforting about a proper gin and tonic and dresses it up without losing what makes the original so good. Three minutes, four ingredients, and a glass that looks like it belongs at a summer garden party. It’s an easy way to switch up a G&T night without any fuss, and that gorgeous violet hue does a lot of the work for you.
