Bruichladdich brings Islay to the nation in celebration of Burns Night

The B Corp certified whisky distillery celebrates Burns Night across the country with cocktail specials atmuch-loved bars, and various tastings and events with friends of the brand.

Islay-based Bruichladdich Distillery is bringing a taste of the Hebrides to the mainland in celebration of the national poet of Scotland, Robert Burns. To honour the phenomenal legacy of Burns Night and its namesake poet, Bruichladdich Distillery are collaborating on exclusive menus across the country, with cocktail specials, food pairings, and hosted dinners taking place in venues from London to Glasgow.

Bruichladdich Distillery, renowned for its much-loved whisky portfolio comprising of: Bruichladdich, the unpeated Islay single malt Scotch whisky; Port Charlotte, the heavily peated Islay single malt Scotch whisky (40PPM); andOctomore, the world’s most heavily peated Scotch whisky series (80+PPM), will transport guests to Islay, kicking offcelebrations with a cocktail special at acclaimed Hackney cocktail bar, Equal Parts.

Opened in 2023, Equal Parts combines classic mixology techniques with a seasonal ingredient-focused approach tomerge lesser-known flavours with a familiar twist. Bar manager Bryn Lovell has crafted the Burns Night cocktailspecial, named Figs of Islay, combining The Classic Laddie with salted hazelnut, angostura bitters, and fig leaf soda.Figs of Islay will be available for a limited time only, between 20th – 26th January. Over at Ham Yard Hotel in London, exclusive dishes paired with the Bruichladdich portfolio will be available on Friday 24th January, taking guests on a whisky journey through each course. Whisky lovers can also expect beautifully paired whisky and food menu in partnership with HIDE in London priced at £250pp, available only on Saturday 25th January.

Outside of London, Fox and Chance in Birmingham are hosting a whisky and cheese pairing on the 23rd January; a 6-course food pairing will be held at Squerryes Winery in Westerham, also on the 23rd; The Cottage in the Wood in Malvern will host a feast and whisky flight on January 25th; and an impressive Burns Night menu will be available across all Kuckoo Bars sites to toast to the celebration. In Scotland, dry-aged beef specialists Porter and Rye will be launching a small plates and paired cocktail menu from the 19th-26th, while Ubiquitous Chip will host a dinner on January 30th.
