Six months into bartending and your boss suggests you enter the Havana Club Grand Prix. What’s the worst that could happen? The worst that happened to our guest today, Ninon Fauvraque from Le Queue du Coq Bar in Annecy France, is that she won the First Sip Award and the People’s Choice Award, as well as the overall Grand Prix.
This was no first time lucky. Ninon had been cooking since she was a child. Using her innate sense of flavours, she crafted two cocktails that would seal her fate. I was thrilled to meet her as she embarks on a career that is destined to take her around the world.
