There’s no more popular serve this summer than the Limoncello Spritz: a favourite on UK bar menus up and down the country and a refreshing mix to enjoy with friends and family at home. Even better if you add a slice of Sicilian lemon for extra Italian flavour!

Ingredients
  

  • 75 ml Villa Cardea Limoncello
  • 50 ml Prosecco
  • 25 ml soda water
  • Ice and lemon slices to garnish

Instructions
 

  • Fill a large wine glass with ice.
  • Add the Prosecco, then the soda water and finally the Limoncello.
  • Stir gently and garnish with the lemon.

Notes

Villa Cardea has also converted its popular spritz serve into a fun frozen treat…the Limoncello Spritzicle!
Ingredients:
  • 100ml water
  • 20ml lemon juice plus grated zest
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 20ml Villa Cardea Limoncello
Method:
  • Mix all the ingredients until well combined and the sugar has dissolved.
  • Pour into ice lolly moulds (2 to 3 depending on their size).
  • Place in the freezer overnight until completely frozen.
