- 50 ml vodka
- 25 ml coffee liqueur
- 25 ml fresh espresso (cooled)
- 10 ml simple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1-2 crushed cardamom pods (green)
- Garnish: Three coffee beans & a light dusting of finely ground cardamom
Lightly crush the cardamom pods to release their aroma, then add them to your shaker.
Pour in the vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso and simple syrup.
Add plenty of ice and shake hard for 12–15 seconds until properly chilled and foamy.
Double strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.
Garnish with three coffee beans or a whisper of cardamom powder.
