How to Fall In Love With Bourbon

Bulleit was the first Bourbon I met. Many moons ago, I was introduced to this caramel-scented, aromatic brown spirit by Andrea Montague, Bulleit’s UK brand ambassador.  After a first date, I was hooked, not realizing what a significant moment this was in my drinking education. I wanted more..I needed more… and I made it a mission to sample every Old-Fashioned in every bar in London.

When I was finally on my way to visit the spiritual home of Bourbon – Kentucky, USA, my first stop had to be Bulleit.  Tim Etheringon-Judge, a previous Lush Life guest and the former Global Brand Ambassador, introduced me to everyone from Bulleit USA. Sylvia C. Holden, Team Leader of the Bulleit Frontier Whiskey Experience at Stitzel-Weller, greeted me with open arms when I walked through the gates. She spent almost the entire morning with me, touring the property and sipping the spirit I have grown to love. Today she is with us to take you through the history and legend of this very special spot outside of the city of Louisville.
