From 9pm, every classic martini arrives with a little something extra – a Kensington Blue cone of house-made, Irish-inspired crisps

The K Bar, the award-winning cocktail bar nestled within five-star hotel, The Kensington, is introducing Kensington at 9 – a new nightly ritual celebrating the art of the perfectly poured martini and the warmth of Irish hospitality.
As the evening settles in, the martini trolley glides through The K Bar, with each drink prepared tableside in a ritual that feels equal parts polished, intimate and quietly indulgent. From 9pm – 11pm, each perfectly chilled classic martini is served with a Kensington Blue cone of house-made, Irish-inspired crisps – a thoughtful gesture that brings a touch of Irish hospitality to the final drink of the evening.
The ritual nods to a distinctly Irish piece of culinary history. In the 1950s, Joe “Spud” Murphy became widely credited with pioneering flavoured crisps in Ireland, including the now-iconic cheese and onion flavour, an innovation that went on to change the way the world eats crisps.
At The K Bar, that story is told through two refined pairings: Irish Cheddar, onion and chive, or Irish Atlantic seaweed salt, served alongside a premium Irish gin martini.
With its intimate interiors, polished service and chic atmosphere, The K Bar is the perfect location for an after-dinner drink, a post-theatre martini or simply one more drink before the night comes to an end.
Kensington at 9 runs nightly from 9pm–11pm, 14 September – 23 October 2026, at The K Bar, The Kensington, London.
