Joyce and Raissa de Haas, Double Dutch, London – How to be born entrepreneurs

Six months into their jobs, our guests knew the corporate world was just not for them. Sisters Joyce and Raissa de Haas were meant for something else.  As students, they didn’t have a taste for pure spirits so they experimented with making their own syrups – mixing fruits and spices to create cocktails that they and their friends would enjoy.

All of their enthusiasm would eventually lead to their founding Double Dutch Drinks, premium mixers or, as they would say, the perfect twin for your spirit. Did I mention Joyce and Raissa were twins and from the Netherlands? Now you see why the name makes perfect sense!

Where you can hear me drinking next:
