French 75

French 75 - Cocktail Recipe

It has the word French in its name, so it has to be French, right? Named for a field gun used by the French in WWI, the French 75 is the delicious combination of gin, fresh lemon juice, sugar with the very French Champagne.

Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Gin
  • 1/2 oz Sugar Syrup
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • Champagne

Instructions

  1. Add the gin, sugar syrup, and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker
  2. Add ice and shake
  3. Strain into a Champagne glass
  4. Top up with Champagne
  5. Stir gently
