Equal Parts, the acclaimed Hackney cocktail bar, is teaming up with Nc’nean, the award-winning Scottish distillery, for a one-of-a-kind Burns Night event: ‘Burns Rewritten’ on Saturday, 24th January. This immersive evening will celebrate Scotland’s rebellious and innovative spirit through whisky, words, and nature.
Guests will enjoy an exclusive Nc’nean whisky tasting, inventive cocktails crafted by Equal Parts, and a menu of Scottish-inspired small bites. The night will feature captivating storytelling, striking visuals, and live performances that honour both classic and contemporary Scottish poets, bringing tradition and modern creativity together in an unforgettable experience.
Nc’nean is an award-winning independent organic whisky distillery on Scotland’s west coast. Founded in 2017, it launched its first whisky in 2020 with a mission to innovate. Nc’nean explores new flavours through longer mashing times, slow fermentation (65–116 hours), and unique yeasts. Its whiskies mature on-site in ex-bourbon, sherry, STR red wine casks, and experimental casks like rum, tequila, and Calvados. All made with organic Scottish barley and distilled in their verified net zero distillery.
