Bulleit Frontier Whiskey launch a limited release Tattoo Edition bottle

This Christmas Bulleit Frontier Whiskey has  launched a limited release bottle design. Bringing a taste of the US to the UK, the Bulleit Bourbon Tattoo Edition Bottle has been created in collaboration with Jess Mascetti, the renowned tattoo artist from East Side Ink, New York. Inspired by her native home of New York and pays homage to the community and city that raised her, Jess’ design has been printed directly onto the iconic Bulleit Bourbon bottle.  This unique Bulleit Bourbon Tattoo Edition is no longer available!

The collaboration marks the first time the Bulleit bottle has ever been altered, transforming the American frontier-inspired bottles into pieces of collectable modern art heroing the worldwide tattoo culture. Each bottle hosts a label which hangs around its neck featuring a scannable QR code to access an interactive augmented reality experience, bringing Jess’s design to life digitally.

Speaking of her bottle design, Jess Mascetti of East Side Ink, New York commented: “I wanted to showcase all that I love about my city in all of its spectacular beauty and overwhelming texture and grit, where Mother Nature meets human nature. Where the greatest achievements in art and architecture share spaces with the denizens and creatures of the city.

Inside this special Tattoo Edition bottle is the same award-winning, high-rye Bulleit Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, with a distinctive bold, spicy taste, that consumers are encouraged to enjoy responsibility over the festive season.

The limited bottle release is part of Bulleit’s Frontier Works series – an ongoing platform that aims to celebrate creative individuals and artisans on the cultural frontier.  The limited release bottle follows Bulleit’s Community Ink project, which celebrates the diverse world of tattooing in Europe. Bulleit commissioned Dominique Holmes in London, Ross Nagle from Ireland, Chris Henriksen from Denmark, Valentin Hirsch from Berlin and Amsterdam based artist Sara Koning to design and create a leather tattoo mural that has been inspired by their local city and community. Each unique design, which tells an individual story, were combined to create one large collaborative piece of artwork and Europe’s first tattooed leather billboard.
