Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz vodka
  • ¾ oz lemon juice
  • ½ oz cherry liqueur or cherry syrup
  • oz simple syrup (to taste)
  • 2 cherries to muddle
  • ice
  • Garnish: fresh cherry or sprig of mint for garnish and muddling

Instructions
 

  • Add 2 cherries to a shaker and muddle, muddle, muddle
  • Add vodka, lemon juice, cherry liqueur, and simple syrup.
  • Fill with ice and shake hard for about 10 seconds.
  • Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
  • Garnish and serve immediately.
  • Garnish with the cherries and mint.
