Michter’s the premium American Whiskey is delighted to announce the launch of Michter’s Manhattan Month – a special cocktail celebration in partnership with West London’s cocktail venues.
Fresh from being named The World’s Most Admired Whiskey for the third year in a row, the brand is marking the occasion with a month-long activation designed to inspire consumers and pay homage to a true classic: the Manhattan cocktail.
With stirred and spirit-forward drinks having found a new lease of life amongst British drinkers in recent years, Manhattan Month is the ideal occasion for enthusiasts to explore curated Manhattan variations across a selection of participating bars in West London. Each venue will offer its own creative twist on this timeless serve, inviting guests to discover fresh interpretations of the cocktail.

Newly launched Chelsea venue, Il Bistrotto, will present two drinks for the entire duration of the month with its Manhattan (Michter’s Straight Rye Whiskey, Chazalettes Vermouth di Torino Rosso, Maraska Maraschino) and Boulevardier (Michter’s Straight Rye Whiskey, Il Bistrotto Sweet Red Vermouth, Il Bistrotto Bitter Blend)
Amaro Bar has added it twist on the classic with the Manhattan using Michter’s Bourbon, Porcini Mushrooms Distillate, Homemade Porcini Mushroom Wine, Sweet Vermouth, Chestnut Liqueur, and Angostura – the serve will be available for a week from 12 until 18 November.
First crafted in the late 19th century, the Manhattan has long been seen as symbol of sophistication. Traditionally made with a blend of whiskey, sweet vermouth, bitters, and garnished with a brandied cherry, it remains the perfect cocktail to savour as the cold nights draw in.

Additionally, from 12-18 November, residents and visitors to High Street Kensington will have the opportunity to sample the brand at Whole Foods experiencing first-hand the American whiskey range.
