WORLD’S 50 BEST BAR: Bars ranked from 1 – 50 in 2022

The list we’ve all been waiting for is here! Last night in Barcelona, the industry gathered to reveal the official World’s 50 Best Bars 2022! Who was the winner? Read on!

Here are a few highlights and then the full list is below:

• Paradiso, Barcelona, ranks No.1 in The World’s 50 Best Bars 2022. It marks the first time this accolade has been won by a bar outside New York or London
• The 2022 list features bars from 26 cities with 14 new entries spread across Athens, Bangkok, Buenos Aires, Chicago, Dubai, Florence, Hong Kong, Lisbon, London, Naples and New York
• For the first time, bars from Florence, Lisbon and Naples feature in the 50 Best list
• Legendary bartender Agostino Perrone is voted Roku Industry Icon
• Stockholm’s Röda Huset is named Campari One To Watch
• Juliana of Guayaquil wins the Siete Misterios Best Cocktail Menu 
• Little Red Door in Paris receives the Ketel One Sustainable Bar Award
• New York’s Double Chicken Please is awarded Disaronno Highest New Entry, coming into the list for the first time at No.6
• Sips in Barcelona secures the Nikka Highest Climber Award, having moved up 34 places to No.3
• Mexico City’s Licorería Limantour claims the title of Rémy Martin Legend of The List and is The Best Bar in North America
• BKK Social Club in Bangkok is named London Essence Best New Opening 
• The inaugural 50 Best The Blend Scholar is Drew Fleming of Kiki Lounge, Isle of Man
