I loved meeting Jason Brown, the Brand Ambassador of Talisker, so when he told me about what Talisker was doing for Burns Night, I wasn’t sure what to choose.
Talisker has teamed up with a number of London’s finest restaurants and bars, to bring guests a taste of the Isle of Skye with a variety of unforgettable experiences including unique cocktails, paired Talisker menus and whisky tastings on selected nights, in the lead up to the 25th of January.
From a luxurious Burns Night supper to unique whisky cocktails, Talisker invites Londoners to embark on their own Scotch adventure through a variety of different experiences depending on how they want to celebrate the evening. Famed for its sea-salt nose, smoky character and peppery finish, Talisker is distilled at the oldest working distillery on Skye, where it is battered by the elements and #MadeByTheSea.
What Talisker is planning for Burns Night
A Burns Night Feast with Talisker Whisky & The Jugged Hare
To celebrate Burns Night this year, Talisker Whisky has partnered with The Jugged Hare to elevate their Traditional Burns Night Supper on January 25th.
Guests will enjoy a five-course Scottish themed supper, created by Head Chef Rafael Liuth, with select dishes made using Talisker Whisky. Each course will also be accompanied by a fine wine, chosen by Sommelier Gui Mahaut. As with any traditional Burns Night celebration, guests will also have the opportunity to watch a traditional bagpiper address the haggis.
A welcome Talisker whisky cocktail of the ‘Sea Sour’ will be served ahead of the dinner. As tradition states, at the end of the Burns Night feast, guests will raise a dram of Talisker whisky, to the great Scottish poet, Robert Burns.
