How to Make Apple Cider at Home

It’s obvious that the rituals learned in our childhood make us the adults we become. In our guest’s case, this ritual was cider making every Autumn with his family in Normandy, France. After leaving home, Xavier d’Audiffret just couldn’t find the cider that he had grown accustomed to drinking in his youth, no matter where he was in the world. No cider he sampled hit the notes that he was seeking. In fact, none of his peers was even drinking cider, except with crepes and galettes twice a year.

He and his partner knew that they had to do something about it. Thus, Maison SASSY was born! You know you’ve captured the contemporary zeitgeist when Colette, the biggest store of its time, embraces your product. Since then, they’ve been convincing the world that cider can be the perfect aperitif and more.

Try their Rosé Negroni at home, here is the recipe!
